Rantin' and Ravin'

My Rant: This g.d. cold I have had for 3 weeks, not sure if its just different kinds one after another or the same one but whatever it is it has. got. to. go. But my only hope is that since it has become way worse the last day or two is that its almost over :)


My Rave: Disney is now on Netflix!!! Could not be more pleased with the $8 I spend on Netflix :)

Also question: Is this sentence gramatically correct? I saw it on a TV commercial and it doesn't sound right to me.

Anniversary-time!

Can you believe we have been married 2 years!

I can't in some ways it has seemed to fly by and in others it has seemed like forever!


But we went to Salt Lake it was fun we went to the temple and the new mall and just walked around in the beautiful weather we were having it was a fun trip! Oh and we went and saw a light show at the planetarium it was pretty neat!

And thats how Regina George died...

So I don't think I even posted I got a new car!!!

I did its a Ford Focus I love it :) Mostly because I got rid of the wagon I was sportin' before.

Well do you know what happened today? I hit a semi! Well he clipped me... but it was my fault I didn't see him. How do you not see a semi truck!?!? Anyway I'm really happy everybody was okay and I don't know how much it will take to fix his truck and my car but it could have been A LOT worse. And it happened at a good time, I have the next six days off work so I don't need a vehicle right away. And the cop was cool and didn't site me so there isn't a ding on my license only my insurance but whats new there right? And besides me ruining the truck drivers day he was pretty cool.

Fall Shoot

Its October so that means fall which also means the moutains are B.E.UTIFUL right now. We went on a family photo shoot hahhaa... Not really. We went fishing and also went to look at the pretty colors but it did turn into a photo shoot. :) So I'd like to show you some of my favorites are... so i decided on a new favorite DAY OF SCHOOL... (IT USE TO BE THE LAST DAY) BUT NOW IM THINKING ITS PICTURE DAY!
most of the kids are all dolled up. Others obviously forgot or dont care. But my 2 favorites are the kids who pick their own outfits
and the kids that parents took 100% control of the kidS OUTFITS HAIR DO MAKE-UP AND ALL! SUCH A FUN DAY I WONDER WHICH CATEGORY I FELL INTO?  WAS I ONE OF THE KIDS THAT REFUSED TO PLAY AT RECESS BECAUSE MY HAIR WOULD GET MESSED UP? IM WILLING TO GUESS NOT.

ONE OF MY KINDERGARTENERS TOLD ME HE WAS EXCITED FOR PICTURE DAY BECAUSE " ITS MY TIME TO SHINE" (THIS WAS A BOY IN SHIRT AND TIE)  HAHA

A blog about nothing

I haven't been on here to complain in a while.
So here goes nothin, lets see if I still got it

I love that I have a job. Love it! But my job sucks :(
Not everything about it just some of it (most of it), and so I still continue to look elsewhere.
And can I just say that is a tiring process, filling out applications, sending resumes
going to interviews, answering rejection calls/e-mails it is a tiring process. Especially because I keep letting myself get my hopes up everytime. But 2 things I have learned 1. I need to be happy with everything I have because how does the saying go "The things you complain about somebody else is praying for" something along those lines and I know in this case that is very true because I know several people in need of a job. and 2. The more I complain and dwell on the crappy things about my crappy job the more I will hate it so after that is said... I'm done dwelling on that. Onto more exciting news!

My cute little puppy is turning ONE on Friday! I can't believe how the time flies and how I still love him. #Notadoglover.
I think it would be fun to have a party for him, maybe set up a puppy play date for him. Maybe make him a cake out of beef or something. Just some thoughts- Neither of which are likely to happen because I don't know/like any other puppies. But its the thoughts that count right?

Our 2nd anniversary is coming up and I planned that out perfectly because it falls right on harvest holiday or whatever its called and so that means I have 5 days off in a row! That means I need to plan something fun for the two of us... Any ideas?

Chicken and Waffles! Not the best thing I've ever had but not the worst. Now that I've tried it I feel a little more legit

I finally bought a watch!

I'm on a nail polish kick, I'm liking havin' my nails did.

Rain Rain Rain, I'm in love.  As much as I hate fires I love watching lightning storms too.

Koda however does not like the thunder, lucky for him we have a good hiding spot for him!

I got a new car, I have been waiting for August 2012 since, well, for about 3 years.

And now its here!!! Now I just need a name for my new ride, I'll need to get to know her/him a little better first.  What do you think?

I'm gearing up for a trip to California, prayin for sunshine.

My school job is starting soon and I cannot wait to have my little kiddos around me everyday!

Also I'm quitting my other job the one I've had for 2+ years and Im sad about it but ready to be done with it.

Run!

I ran my first 5k today!
Thanks to my sister Melanie for joinin in on the fun :)

I finished. I forgot my camera. I had fun. I got a t-shirt and a medal.

Also I love the 4th of July it is quickly becoming my favorite holiday.
Who knows I may even make running the 5k part of my tradition

Had an aamazing weekend some of the highlights:

• We got stuck in a crazy traffic jam which would have made me kind of stressed on any other day except for I got to see a trucker throw a bottle of his urine at someone, so it was worth it.
• Spent an entire day at the beach, people watching, tanning, body boarding, and of course napping.
• Stayed at a hotel that was so close to everything my beach cruiser could take me everywhere :)
• Went deep sea fishing for the first time ever. Since I was one of the only girls on the excursion I felt like I was crashin a frat party but oh well it was still so fun.
• Walked out on the pier.

Funny story about this, one morning I was telling Bobby I had to show him something but not to get mad blah blah blah well he was all confused and was like what are you talking about. haha well I pulled back the covers and showed him the hole on my side. And he said well I have a confession too and he pulled back his covers and he had a hole too! haha we're nerds but I thought it was funny.

Bank vent...

My husband and I are switching banks, we're not sure where yet but anywhere else...
For two months in a row we have had two major screw ups! Thats not counting the other times we've had problems just two in a row really grinds my gears:

Month 1: My husband went into the bank and deposited his check he put some in our savings account and some in our checking account.  I went ahead and sent some bills out using bill pay because I LOVE the convenience of bill pay. Turns out all the money went into our savings account. So the money I sent to pay bills was not in the right account so our overdraft was hit, including an overdraft fee for each check sent.
          No worries, I'll just go in to the bank and talk to them, after I told them the situation they moved our money from saving back to checking where it belonged and reveresed the fees. Maybe a day or two later I was online just checking on our accounts and what not and realized the bank found they made a mistake and so they "fixed" the problem and moved the money back to checkings without realizing I already did that! So now our savings was in the red and yet another fee!!!

Month 2: I used bill pay to send out a few of our bills. Keep in mind the end of the month is our "big bill" time of month, mortgage utilities etc. Well for whatever reason 4 of the bills were sent twice! When I called to tell them that was wrong they could only put a stop payment on 1 of the bills so that means we paid 3 of our bills 2 times this month and I don't know about you but we cant really afford to do that. Money is hard enough to manage but it just doesn't help having to deal with bank errors on top of it. Another thing I don't like is neither time they could tell me why those errors were made so who knows how many more times it will happen.

 These are my newest shoes.... Well my newest remodel I guess. You see I had two pair of black flats one that I never wore so I thought I'd try and add a little color to my wardrobe. I love how they turned out I just need to do some touch ups around the souls :)

So I have one day left of work and by one day, I mean 3 hours!

I definetly am ready for the summer!!! This is a list of things I really want to do this summer...

• Yard sale
• I'm looking for bookshelves
• Books!
• Anything to help me organize my house
• And any other awesome steals I can't resist
• I'm busting out the ol' six string again its been a while, so I'm going to pretty much have to reteach myself everything all over again but thats alright
• Sew!
• I'm going to try more ellaborate quilt patterns, maybe some clothing.
• Go on vacation
• California, hopefully visit Drew Carey on the Price is Right! But if no Drew then a dodgers game and the beach will do
• Run a 5k, or walk, or crawl haha whatever I got to do to finish
• Learn some espanol, my spanish books just keep collecting dust
• SWIM
• Take advantage of my cheap flight oppurtunity
• I'm talking go to the airport see what flight is next and go there! (thats on my bucketlist)
• And work at my other job - blah---

SO yesterday was my birthday. It was awesome.... okay well it had its ups and downs but mostly awesome.

Some  highlights of the day

• Our swamp cooler is installed
• I got to work both my jobs (Is that a highlight?)
• I bowled my first turkey! 
• I also bowled my own personal record... 164 I think
• I took a recent picture, my poor cami has been neglected 
• I got a bed frame so now my mattress can get off the floor! #Best.mom.ever
• I received mail that wasn't a bill! ( that rarely happens)

Anyway so as you can see it was a great day :)  I can just end on that one ... no more birthdays... I can stay this age forever :) I don't want to hit 30 yuck j/k mel that was just for you because I think you are the only person who reads my blog.

Retail therapy

We went on a little mini-vacation (just an overnighter) We went to Lake Havasu, to visit Bobby's grandparents. It was so fun, but I wish we could have stayed longer. Anyway, while we were on vacation we had to go shopping (its a must) and also because I have 2 pair of jeans, one pair being really short so basically that leaves me with one pair of jeans and thats just not enough. Bobby hates shopping with me which I can understand because I hate it too. Well we went to the store and I actually found some pants I liked and a cute shirt to go with them. We spent $75 for two things :( That doesn't make me happy I want to take them back so bad, like bad enough I won't be able to be happy when I wear them (Well maybe after a few times I'll get over it...)

Anyway today I had the day off and I was BORED so I went looking around town just "window shop" I ended up getting 2 pair of pants, 2 shirts and a pair of boots for  $45! That is how you do it... So I came to a conclusion: I cannot shop with Bobby because he always makes me settle, or feel rushed, or something. So instead I will continuing shopping clearance racks and discount stores!

Okay so I was having issues with loading pictures as you can tell they aren't the best anyway but some more things I have been up to are sewing quillows, scripture cases, and I'm in the midst of making a coat rack! And of course I'm still making hats.

The best day!

After reading the title did you think Valentines Day? If you did you're wrong!

I haven't been up to par on my blogging but a couple of weeks ago was the best day, atleast in my eyes it was. Bobby and I were sealed in the temple! It was such a great day I loved it :) I had been waiting for that day for so long. And what a day it was. Now that its Valentines day- it got me thinking about love (Go figure) and I'm so lucky to have found the love that I did. I can't think of a better person to spend the rest of eternity with!

Golf

I love golfing. I really do and I played 18 holes for the first time :) And as an added bonus I beat my husband. It was such a nice course, like so nice there was no way we would have golfed there except we had a gift certificate (Thanks Jenn, awesome Christmas present) and I felt WAY out of place, I found myself gawking at all of the fancy equipment more than once. The course was so pretty I got this awesome shot of my husband. Oh and don't mind the big shadow of me either....

Gratituesday

So I haven't blogged in a minute, mostly because nothing is going on. Nothing too important anyway this is probably due to the fact I recently discovered Scrubs was on netflix. Love it. Also if you love Zach Braff the way I do you will probably love this guys video too it makes me laugh. Its on itunes too so feel free to download :)

Today I am grateful for many many things as usual so I will just name a few.

• Bobby Jay, I just love love him.
• Koda. And the fact that he now sleeps in until 7!
• My little Kindergarteners (Yes I said my)
• The fact that I have 2 jobs that I love. Spoiled much?
• Pinterest and all the yummy recipies on there that I get to try.
• Recently rediscovered Pepito jokes, hahaha I find some of the stupidest things funny don't worry not the crude ones those are just... crude.

14. BUDWEISER. That women over there has a nice body, budweiser face so ugly?
