Fall days

So fall is upon us and that means my husband has again left me for his mistress (bambi) so I have been home enjoying reading, crafting and of course netflix. Ill post some of my crafts,

I have also been really busy at work which reminds me I need to post pictures of my first classroom but I'll do that another day. I have such a good class, I am very fortunate. What I do need is lots of circle time ideas but thank goodness for the internet, youtube and pinterest are life savers!


So my sister gave me the okay to photograph her family and it was soo fun. I wish I was better at it but its fun to pretend :)

 

I'm going to try and edit them and find some good ones to give to her. And that was a quick little update of my past few weeks.

Excited!

Sometimes I get over excited for stuff like maybe a little too happy but hey at least Im happy, happy, happy :) and happy people just dont kill people.  Want to know all the exciting things I speak of?

The royal highness was born! I was sure it'd be a little lady but either way this is some exciting news!!!

and we finally installed a ceiling fan in our bedroom 

this makes me the most excited I cant imagine life without it. And im not even mad that it took my huaband 2 years to install it or that he put his foot through the ceiling doing it :)

Summer is in full swing next week is suppose to be in the 100's and one of my favorite holidays is coming up the 4th of July! we were going to go to Lake Havasu but Bobby is so busy at work he all but moved out to the shop so Ive had to entertain myself which includes.... (judge me all you want) putting clothes on my dog! but it was seriously the cutest thing ever i mean look at that face he was loving it!!! 

Also we went and shot clay pigeons one day it was really fun and really ghetto because apparently my husband is WAY more redneck then I give him credit for.... and it may or may not be rubbing off on me. take this photo for example. And yes that is the back of his truck.

But in even better news and this is all very tenative .....but we are going to Costa Rica this summer!!! I sent in my application for a passport renewal yesterday! can you guess what picture I used? 

wrong... They didnt let me use any of these but good guess. ;)

so I have always loved the summer games and how fortunate for me they are in Cedar every year. Well this Summer i have volunteered several times now and I had the oppurtunity to participate! I played volleyball and it was way fun however it took me 9 games in two days to realize I am getting old! I cant believe how sore i was, its crazy to think i did that every single day in high school but it was still fun even though we didnt bring home a medal. (and it cost a small fortune to play/or Im just cheap) My grandparents came to watch and the made a video montage and put it on youtube so if you get REALLY bored you can check ithttp://youtu.be/34q6xifpG34 out....
So I also realized this weekend Im kind of a mean wife for Fathers Day Bobby made all 3 meals... woops.
Also Ive been redecorating my kitchen in an Americana theme I can show you pictures when its all done. But ill give you a sneak peak because these Barn stars turned out so cute! And the best part was they cost me nothing to make!!

Koda the great!

So i went to my neices play last night, Annie. it was so cute just a small community production well anyway the dog playing Sandy was so cute and well behaved and it made me realize, Koda is falling behind. so I decided he needed to get spiffed up and take some head shots for his portfolio :)

Lil' Post

Just writing a quick post, to get the dust off. Because it has been a while, but I am here and I think the reason I haven't written is because nothing too exciting has happened... however I did go to Florida! We went deep sea fishing, it was really fun :)

Don't I have a good looking family! However, I'll have to photoshop my little brother into this and My dad is always being a little silly but that's what I love about him.

 

I am so glad it is Summer and all my favorite activies are in full bloom, Like swimming, tennis, camping, fishing, hiking, four wheeling, and did I mention swimming all the good stuff! Maybe now that I will be leaving my house on a regular basis I'll have more things to blog about, until next time.  

Holidays and things

Hello Blog world.

 

It has been a while hasn't it? Here is some things I have been up to..

Crafting lots of crafting, I made curtains well I updated a shower curtain but it turned out way cool. I'm actually going to make a set for my bedroom next. My sister bought a house so I made her this little house warming gift and I love the way it turned out!

 

 

 

The holidays came. I don't even think I wrote about Thanksgiving! Did I? Well in case I didn't we went to Lake Havasu for a couple days it was so relaxing! We even went black friday shopping with Grandma Trude. For Christmas we spent some time with the families, ate some good food, and I got a blender! I tried out the homemade icee recipe that has been sitting in my recipe box for quite some time now and it was actually pretty dang good. (Not so much an icee but a delicious cold beverage none-the-less)

 

 

Then for New Years we actually stayed up past midnight (The first time doing that since I've been married) It was fun we got with some friends and played games. I learned  how to play that domino game "Mexican Train" which was actually pretty fun and I'm a natural so if anybody wants to challenge me I'm down. Oh and here is a picture of Koda on New Years he tried really really hard to stay up with us but he couldn't quite make it.

 

 

Then on New Years day we went up to Bobby's cabin and went snow shoeing. Koda LOVES the snow and it was so fun to watch him hop around in it so I grabbed some video of that.
